FEAST OF ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CABRINI
Mother Cabrini, originally from Italy, was the very first U.S. citizen to be canonized. She was a Religious of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart. She spent her life working for the benefit of the poor, uneducated & underprivileged.
